My name is Carl Wiman, I am Swedish, born in Germany, living and thriving in Oslo, Norway.

I work full time as a Portfolio Ambassador for William Grant & Sons, actively educating HORECA-staff about whisky and Hendrick's Gin. Working at major drinks & spirit fairs around Norway.

Having the experience of living in somebody's home as their guest is a unique cultural experience.

It is a very good way to get insight into foreign cultures and gives you an opportunity to experience things first hand, instead of being a bystander.

I enjoy meeting open-minded people in more relaxed settings. I enjoy staying in hotels as well, but it's closely associated with work for me. So staying in more house-like accomodations is quite relaxing.

Interessi

I am a foodie by all measures, having worked in restaurants and bars of all sorts throughout my career, with very good knowledge in cocktails and spirits, as well as food, only slowly improving my skills on beer & wine. Food and cooking has always been a big part of my life as I started making food when I was 12.

Another of my large interests is language. Everyone of my close family members work as translators except myself. However having been born in a different country then I grew up in has helped me to become and stay interested in languages.
