About Me

Philly, PA -> Austin, TX -> Chiang Mai, Thailand -> Baltimore, MD

My day job involves a lot of playing with fun equipment and finding excuses to code. In my spare time, I'm exploring nearby hiking trails, finding new music, making delicious coffee (cold brew or Chemex is the way to go), and sharing all of those passions with the people around me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm a firm believer in the importance of taking a step back from "real life" every now and then. I think Couchsurfing is the perfect thing for that.

Interests

(In no particular order) Music, science, synths, astrophysics, film, the occasional book, coding, Rick and Morty, craft beer, coffee and its brew methods, hiking, swimming, whiskey.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Deep water soloing in the New River Gorge in West Virginia. Rock climbing, sans rope, with nothing but the water beneath you.

Teach, Learn, Share

The STEM stuff I can teach: How to work a Moog synth (and make it sound rad), how to build a theremin from some scrap materials, how to navigate the night sky using a star chart, how to tell the difference between a planet and a star in the night sky, a bit of coding in the form of Python, how to use a command line and look like you know what you're doing.

Countries I’ve Lived In

Thailand
