Hi! My name is Carly Freeman and I am currently a freshman student in Vermont. I love traveling but am on a student budget. I love to put any money I get towards seeing the world. I have lived in Portugal for a year which opened my eyes to a whole new life of living outside of the United States. I am eager to learn more about what is waiting for me out in the world.

Couchsurfing would allow me to expand my goals to see and live temporary in places I have never been before and best of all with people of the country that I am visiting! The best way to learn about a country is to live with the natives.

I enjoy any music. I mostly like listening to low key and relaxing sounds, as well as more indie and folk genres. Anything that is interesting and new to my ear is always intriguing.

For my senior year of high school I received a full scholarship to study abroad. I chose to study in Lisbon, Portugal for a year and had an amazing time. I lived with a great Portuguese family and learned all about the culture and way of life. This experienced opened me up to the experience of traveling alone at a young age and ever since I never wanted anything more but to do it again.
