Overview
About Me
I have just returned from a year in Bulgaria where I went on tour for a musical and tried a semester of college. I am now moving out west and practice mindful living. I am sustainable, vegan, gluten free and have an endless supply of quirks. I play ukulele and am often channeling Cyndi Lauper on a daily basis. Avid advocate for animal and women's rights. Lover of the environment and bees.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing so that I can meet new people and experience the authenticity of a life that may or may not vary from my own. There is always room for growth and learning, especially when those stem from contact with other people. We are all individuals with shared interests and intentions, and even our differences help to better each other.
Interests
Creative writing consumes most of my time, as does reading and doing puzzles. I love to try new things and have recently gotten into cooking. I love a good pun and I enjoy listening to others talk about their lives and the experiences they have had and are yet to have. I am a firm believer in doing what you're passionate about and not getting caught up in the rat race if that isn't what you really want to be partaking in.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I volunteered for several weeks at an animal rescue center, where I met so many amazing people and animals. I got to build, clean and help to rehabilitate all kinds of animals from Kinkajous to Howler Monkeys to Parrots, and that experience really solidified my passion for saving and conserving animals! Sloths are my favorite animal and I cried the first seven times I held one.
I studied in Bulgaria this past semester and it was one of the most incredible times of my life and unlike anything I have ever experienced before.
I also once held Tom Riddle's Diary and cried in front of thirty strangers while it happened???
Teach, Learn, Share
I can't claim to be proficient in anything, but am always willing to share my knowledge of little pockets of information that I have learned during my life. I can play the ukulele and sing and can teach you really, really corny puns that you can pull out in any situation. I have so many stories and I have endless quirks that people tend to pick up if they are around me enough!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook (kind of) for you! I have so many fun anecdotes to share along with my quirky sense of humor and self!
