Hi, I'm Carly! I'm a 23 year old American girl, a born and bred Philadelphian. I'm currently living in Toulouse, working as an English teaching assistant in primary schools. I graduated from Vassar college in May 2017 where I majored in biology and French and I played on the squash team. Currently, I'm working on perfecting my French and immersing myself in French culture. Someday though, I'd like to become a doctor. But I'm leaving all the school and medical tough stuff for the future, right now I'm focusing on exploring, seeing the world, meeting new people, learning about myself and others, and just enjoying life! I love food and cooking (I worked on a farm for a year and can never have enough veggies/love experimenting in the kitchen!), being outside--hiking, biking, running, or even just picnicking/lounging in the park, and I LOVE dogs. I'm always up for an adventure, trying new things, and meeting new people from all over, which is why I love traveling!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling and meeting people from all over the world and learning about different cultures. I want to take advantage of the fact that I'm living in Europe and have easy access to so many different countries, by meeting new people and exploring new places, and I think couchsurfing is the best way to do that. I've had great experiences in the past, and want to continue making memories with couchsurfers!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Got lost and stuck on Mont Blanc in Chamonix, and had to climb my way up the mountain back to the trail!!!
