ABOUT ME

I love to meet new people, host, cook, learn about new cultures, hang out outside, and play a few sports like tennis and volleyball. I'm very laid back and enjoy just reading a book and relaxing too.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in creating a better world by practicing what we preach. I try to have a small ecological footprint and be generous, respectful, and appreciative of people I know. Health is very important to me so I strive to live without chemicals and have an active lifestyle.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've done a considerable amount of traveling in Latin America and have received an unbelievable amount of hospitality so I'd like to pay it forward. I've never hosted anyone but would like to.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed with one family and one group of roommates and both experiences were great. I keep in touch with both hosts and have great memories! I think meeting people while traveling and meeting travelers can be a fun and interesting experience.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I'm into books about history, philosophy, and other cultures. My favorite movies are the Kill Bills, Volver, and the Motorcycle Diaries. But I'm infamous for not seeing a lot of movies. I listen to hip-hop, pop, folk, electronic, and lots of independent music, as I used to DJ at my university's radio station.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

My first travel experience was going to the mountains of Guatemala for three months by myself. I lived with an indigenous host family and the experience changed my life! I'm much more confident, laid back, and cultured after doing things I never thought I could do.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I can speak Spanish, cook, and know a lot about foraging and plant identification, traveling, and nutrition. I love to sing and play a little guitar. I'd like to learn more about gardening, philosophy, and history.
