ABOUT ME

I have wanted to travel for as long as I remember and jump at ever opportunity to do so. I wonder that I never had any broken bones as a kid, I mustn't have been very adventurous and am now making up for lost time. I felt like I needed a change from my life so I quit my job and decided to see what the world has in store for me. I've been working as a social worker for the past 2.5 years but I don't think a job behind a desk really suits me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met someone just before I came overseas who told me about couchsurfing and I joined up. So I haven't been able to participate much yet. Since I've been in North America I've been lucky enough to have jobs/accommodation/friends/family to stay with but am really excited to get involved.

Interests

I love being outdoors, hiking, climbing, swimming. I used to play social touch and netball with some mates back home. I like reading and watching foreign films - I know it sounds kind of cliché but I do. I love live music, whether it's at a 3 day festival or some random band I've never heard of at the local bar.
