I have a love for adventure and getting out of my comfort zone; exploring new places, meeting new people, learning about new cultures. I like to see life as a never ending learning experience, and I feel travel is such a great teacher.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I moved to the other side of the world to volunteer at a daily center for adults with disabilities in a language I had never heard of. I have traveled a bit throughout my adult life, but fully immersing myself into a culture and being welcomed in as a local is an experience not to be taken for granted.

Before I had the funds to travel myself, I hosted couch surfers from around the globe. While in college I hosted a number of travelers and had the chance to see the world from their eyes for a few nights. I loved being able to show them around my town and share experiences together. I even got to share my birthday with a few surfer. I just recently got back onto the website to discover I don't have my old account info with all of my old references and experiences... bummer!
