ABOUT ME

I'm a dancer and dance teacher currently living in Seattle, WA. I think this place is beautiful, and would love to meet people who love to adventure in it!
I spend my days dancing, playing with my dog, frolicking in the out doors, making jewelry and being outside as much as possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am brand new, so I suppose I participate by generally being excited to start in on the couch surfing community.

I hope to participate by building new connections and being a part of a community where I already live. Community seems to be hard to find these days, and I think we can all benefit with more of it!

Music, Movies, and Books

Just watched Burn After Reading...I thought it was great! Also just rewatched Life is Beautiful, I cried for an hour afterward. I love Little Miss Sunshine, Singing in the Rain and The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas.

Music! I really am up for anything, and I know everyone always says that, but I'll try anything once. I love going to concerts, even if I don't know the artist(s). I just discovered Blue Scholars and I love them. I've been listening to Snow Patrol alot these days, for no apparent reason....

Books...again, too many to list. I'm reading White Teeth by Zadie Smith, I just finished Tar Baby by Toni Morrison, and I really enjoyed it. I love Harry Potter. I love The Golden Compass etc even more. I also love victorian literature. Oh and fairy tales!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I feel like my life has been blessed with amazing experiences.....I hang out with 12 year olds all day, and they seem to do amazing things all the time.

I saw Nelson Mandela in Pretoria, SA on the 10 year anniversary of freedom. That energy was amazing!

Teach, Learn, Share

I have some pretty useful outdoor skills (I can build an awesome one match fire thanks to camp counseling!) I can teach dance!

I would love to learn to play the guitar. I would love some new reading material, and I wish I could sing.
