About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see what life is like on another part of our planet and see where that experience takes us...
ABOUT ME
We are recently married and looking forward to an exciting life of adventure. First come the more obvious adventures-- one of our first dates was skydiving-- then later we look forward to the adventures of starting a family.
We are Do-ers not talkers...as the skydiving motto says "shut up and jump".
We are pretty laid back and enjoy a good bottle of wine on the lanai with some friends, but are always up for trying something new. EVERY DAY IF POSSIBLE!
PHILOSOPHY
So many things come to mind...
Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all.
20 years from now you'll be more disappointed in the things you DIDN'T do, than the things you did.
The best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago; the second best is RIGHT NOW.
Shut up and JUMP!
Love is primarily an action, not a feeling.
John 3:16 sums up a lot,too.

Music, Movies, and Books
Kev: Godfather, Shawshank, Cookoo's nest, Young Frankenstein. Bob Dylan, Police, U2, classic rock, classical, broadway. Tony Robbins, Dale Carnegie, anything that feeds my brain instead of turning it to mush.
Car: I <3 Nicholas Sparks and strive to read every book of his. I'm trying to expand a lil more in my reading material, however ;) I love music and like many diff genres...from country to pop to classic rock. As far as movies...I'll go with..Ocean's 11, Bruce Almighty, Just Friends, 40 Yr Old Virgin, The Departed, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, and Rent cuz I love the musical.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Kev: One pretty cool thing I did was took a hammer and chisel to the Berlin Wall and in my own small way helped bring it down. More recently, I won a nationwide tailgating recipe contest with over 2200 entrants. It got me and Carly to Hawaii for the first time, so we decided to live there for a year! I entered online one boring afternoon and the whole experience changed our lives forever!
I once saw an 8 foot boa eating a 4 foot iguana in the wild.
Car: I think skydiving probably tops my list. It's one of those things people say "I always wanted to do that" about. I wanted to be one of the people that say "yeah it was one of the coolest things I've ever done."
Teach, Learn, Share
Kev: I personally love personal development. No one is above "self-help" or "self-improvement". The moment you beleive you've "arrived", you begin your backslide. We never arrive, we always move forward. I think the whole world, no one excluded, should read "How to win friends and influence people" by Dale Carnegie. It's not as cheezy as it sounds. It will change your life.
I want to learn to kayak and couchsurf.
