ABOUT ME

Decided to take a year off college to be an Au Pair in Germany... that was almost 3 years ago and I'm still here! Im curious about the world and all the things in it. I love to travel and really enjoy meeting all different kinds of people from all over the world. Im a happy, positive person who enjoys a good laugh with friends and good adventures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love meeting people who share my appreciation for travel, so we will always have at least one thing in common! I wish that I had a couch to host more people, so far Ive only had 3 visitors. But living in a tiny WG makes this difficult most of the time. But I'm also happy to put my second mattress in the kitchen when I can! Its a bit of an adventure to live in my kitchen for a couple of nights I'm sure :)

Interests

I love good story tellers. Any interesting, thought-provoking conversation. Sunshine and anything nature always puts a smile on my face. I love the ocean and miss it heaps since living in Munich. Camping is the best type of sleepover, hands down. I guess you could say Im quite thirsty, and always enjoy a good night out with beers or anything funky.. I do it all. Good music, good people. For hobbies I do ceramics on the wheel. But anything working with my hands I'm interested in. I'd love to learn carpentry and building/decorating my own furniture. Reading. Bubble baths. Long walks n talks. I love funky, unique people who are proud of everything they are - the good, bad & ugly.

Music, Movies, and Books

The Rolling Stones , The Flaming Lips, Modest Mouse, Led Zeppelin, Tame Impala, Iron & Wine. I really like anything folky, classic rock, or kinda spacey but always happy to hear new tunes :)

There are few things I love more than reading. John Irving is my favorite that comes to mind at the moment. But I actually will read anything. Mainly recommendations from people I love or interesting folks- such a fast & accurate way to understand someone is through their favorite books, I think.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For my best friends 21st birthday his Dad took us sky diving. Falling into the Atlantic Ocean was a moment I'll happily never forget
