Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Had the best time couchsurfing in Europe summer 09, have loved hosting as well :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Now that I have done some couchsurfing myelf, I think it is important to clarify my position on the project. I think that I differ from many other participants, (but NOT ALL!) in that I see couchsurfing as way more than just a way to travel cheap, or a place to put ones things/lay their head for a night. Couchsurfing is about experiencing a place through the eyes and ears of your host and or your excited new guests. Approaching the project in this way, as both a host and a surfer is probably the best advice I can offer to anyone on the project.
