Hi! I´m Carmela, a 28 years old Spanish girl who loves the ocean and to travel around. I was raised in the North West of Spain in the border with Portugal. I went to the University of Gran Canaria and I lived there for 5 years, after I lived for one year in Madrid.

In 2014 I decided to move to Australia and since then I´ve been in and out from the country. Most of the time I lived Noosa Heads located in the Sunshine Coast.

I consider myself a pretty easy going person who enjoys the simplest things in life as eating, sleeping and having a good laugh!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The main reason why I´m in coach surfing is because I believe that is so much better to discover a place with locals and to learn from their realities and experiences.

Besides life is better if you have people to share it with!

Music, Movies, and Books

I liked mostly all types of music, in my opinion each moment of the day needs a different soundtrack.

About movies I have to say, that right now I'm more into series, I liked a good story of any kind. I appreciate those things carefully thought and made with love.

I loved reading, novel is my favourite style, science fiction and fantasy because are those who allows me to travel to new worlds.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Do all the Australian west coast with a friend, surfing in every spot, we did 8.000 km in a month.
- Bought a 4-wheel drive in Darwin and drove south the Kimberley’s and arrived to Broome.
- Surfing with Dolphins and whales.
- Fell in love
- Face my fears
- Free camping on the beach, all around the west coast of Spain.
- Scuba diving in the night in the most absolutely darkness, to me I felt like I was floating in the space...until I
saw a prawn floating too ; )

Teach, Learn, Share

The older I got the less I know, so I'm ready to learn about what ever you can teach me about. I'm an enthusiast and curious student tough.

I´m a surf instructor and soon I will become a scuba diving instructor, so if you are curious about the ocean, I will be happy to introduce you to this beautiful element!
