About Me

I grew up in Gramado, a beautiful small little town in the south of Brazil where everyone is pretty much either German or Italian. Sometimes both, like me. I guess this is one of the reasons why I appreciate so much fusing myself with other cultures. Couchsurfing is the way I found to keep mixing and matching different languages, habits and philosophies. I like to think of it as traveling without leaving your home. It's sharing experiences in a whole different level.

Now here is some useful straight forward information about me :)
LOVE: surprises, munchies, floaters, daisies and furry pets.
HATE: prejudice and coriander.
LIFE: I live with my boyfriend Nunno. I'm studying to become an Art Therapist and he studies Sociology (we both love discussions about it) and works as a soccer trainer.
THINGS WE LIKE TO SPEND MONEY ON: records and oranges (seriously, we make fresh squeezed juice everyday).
DAY: work, study, beach, walking the dog.
NIGHT: Guiness, sometimes IPA; Charades, sometimes party bus; Bar, sometimes bonfire.

Note: we are part of a loving Brazilian community in Ocean Beach, so expect to see big bright smiles and hear a lot of loud cheerful Portuguese. Since each of us comes from different parts of Brazil, there will be different accents, senses of humor and also yummy recipes from different grandmas <3

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Love to host, love to surf and when possible, enjoy to get envolved with meetings wherever I am.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

People who don't know the project usually think that CS is all about saving money, but they have no idea that no money could pay for this experience, and no fancy hotel will ever give you all the fun CS gives you. Meeting new openminded people and experiencing new lifestyles is priceless!
