About Me

CURRENT TRIP FROM CAIRNS TO GOLD COAST! DIVING MY WAY DIWN THE COAST 😍

My name is Carmen although some people call me Karma and I am 20 years old.
Since arriving in Australia in November 2018 I met so many people, changed a lot, spend way too much money and still can’t get enough of this country. I get the felling that people living here are so open and friendly. And that might be just because they know they live in the best country! Oh man i am in love with the people here.

I like to do sports. Used to do more though. Got way to lazy but I still can to everything so feel free to motivate me ;)
Hiking, running, yoga, ... I try out everything. But I do have a passion for the ocean and any in water activity!!!
Diving is my occupation and my passion, freediving, surfing and spear fishing things I need to improve my skills in.
Exploring the city and nature around is great as well as seeing the tourist attractions. Balance is the goal and locals are the best way to achieve it!

Cooking is great, especially cooking with friends and having a nice dinner together.
I eat vegan but not trying to force anyone to do the same.

As well I am kind of a discomfort junky. Bungee Jumping, Skydiving and more. This is how I like to make memories.
Get to know new people, collecting stories and memories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is an opportunity. To get to know people in their own place, get involved in their life means getting to know them on a different level straight away. It is different when it is more about the social exchange than about money, cause paying for accommodation means there are expectations and that takes away from the social aspect and creates a distance in my opinion.

It is great to get to know locals and exploring the city with them.
If my host is not interested in spending time together and conversations, it’s completely fine. But I am always happy about meeting new people and making new friends.

Interests

I am interested in other cultures, spiritual stuff (don’t know much but like to learn), yoga, sports, anything connected with the ocean, cooking, animals, nature conservation so you might call me kind of a ‘modern hippie’ even though I wouldn’t call myself that

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can cook together, spend some time, learn from eachother while having a nice conversation, do the things we like and have a nice time together.
And if you don’t want to spend time with me, I will find some stuff to do aswell on my own.

If you have pets or children, I would love to
