Hi, I’m Carmen. I like to explore different cultures and stories. Staying in the nature, meeting different people and have fun.

In Hong Kong, I’m a social worker to work with the communities. I am interested in exploring the communities culture and do empowerment works.

And to broaden my self exposure, I am working on a “100 things in lifetime” project, to try different things to broaden my horizons. One of the things is to try couch-surfing and explore the world.

Dlaczego jestem na Couchsurfing

I always like to explore the world and my “self” by meeting up different people and exploring different cultures locally instead of business tourism.

I start to do solo travel couple years before and now start to learn to Couchsurf, aiming to explore the world more deeply.

I wish to meet more amazing people and broaden my mindset also.

Jedna niesamowita rzecz, którą zrobiłem(-am)

I had an amazing experience knocking locals door /walk-in to a local house to meet local people on the way I was walking on the street. There was a time I met a very old grandma living alone so I visited her couple times. We do not share any languages, yet she was very nice to cook me dinner and taught me a lot of things. We talk in our own language in the whole process (without google translator) yet still be able to communicate! I learn some of her language also ! Language is never a barrier 😂
