About Me

Prior to settling down to study Visual Communication in Weimar I was lucky to enjoy two years of traveling and partaking in various projects. Now that I am close to finishing my Bachelor degree my travels have become more bound to a reason. I am an open-minded, artistic person who likes to question things that are perceived as the norm. My eyes are trained to see small details as I am interested in type design, typography and conceptional graphic design.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My wish is to get to know new people and places and converse about interesting subjects. I believe in the beauty of affortable yet connecting travelling.

Music, Movies, and Books

Honestly, unlike many people I haven’t seen a lot of popular movies. So I am not very knowledgeble when it comes to famous actors or cult films. My interests are vast and therefore I enjoy (short) documentaries and art films.
Concering books, I am currently trying to diversify my bibliography. As a slow reader I like to take my time reading everthing from scientific essays, feminist literature to art and design books.
Music: Yaeji, Peggy Gou, Giegling, KGLW, Soitchi Terada, HÖR Berlin

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A natural phenomenon that amazed me was the total solar eclipse in 2017. I was lucky enough to travel Canada around that time, and made the trip down to Portland to see something so beautiful and vibrant as the solar eclipse.

Teach, Learn, Share

When it comes to vegan food and veganism I am happy to share and cook a vegan meal together, bake delicous (sometimes more healthy) sweet treats or experiment with new ingredients.
As a German native speaker I could teach you German if youre interested in learning the „harsh“ language. Preferrably, you ask me a question concering design :) Since I started studying visual communication I’ve dug myself into the world of colours, grids and structures. My focus at the moment: type and web design.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am happy to bring delicatesses along or cook a vegan meal for you/with you. If you’ve any questions about design related topics feel free to ask me (though I do not concider myself an expert yet either, but I do enjoy conversing about these and many other topics on a glass of vine or non-alcoloic beverage).
