I am a very motivated, upbeat, and happy individual who is always ready for an adventure. One of my passions is indeed taking on new opportunities- I love to learn and try new things because I've found that this leads to unbelievable experiences which in turn makes one a unique person. One of my favourite quotes is Wayne Gretzky's "You miss 100% of the shots you never take"- it's so simple yet so true! If you don't get out there and try things you cannot hope to grow and really find what truly connects with you personally. So this is me. I am all about getting out there and gaining experiences which help me grow and allow me to enrich my own and other people's lives.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing to have the opportunity to meet new people and learn about their experiences while creating my own as I travel. I want to learn and make connections with others all while exploring new places and experiencing new cultures!

Interests

I love anything adventurous and sporty.....hiking, flying, climbing, kayaking, running, biking, swimming (triathlon)...give me something active and interesting to do and I'm all in! I also love exploring and experiencing new cultures, foods (check out my blog at http://journeythroughfood.simplesite.com/ ), and ideas, as well as meeting new people. I believe everyone has a multitude of wonders to share, and I very much enjoy hearing about others stories and opinions as I find this helps enforce, enrich, and build upon my own thoughts and beliefs for the better.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like any kind of music that suits my mood- usually I go for upbeat dance music or rap to get me moving but I also really enjoy raw instrumental and voice- especially when I'm laid back.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmmm...."one" amazing thing I've done...people do amazing things everyday but ok here is one interesting thing:
I got my first pilot's license when I was 16 years old!
Amazing things I do that do not cease to amaze me:
Feeling loved and giving love. Cliche maybe but love is amazing in all forms at all times.
Watching the world wake up as the sun rises during my morning run.
Drinking a cup of hot tea early on a Sunday morning at the Farmer's Market.
Yeah...those are just a few. One must never stop amazing themselves :)
