About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I want to learn all the things and meet all the people! But really.
ABOUT ME
I'm on a quest to become a conference interpreter, which has led me to travel around and move to different countries. I have recently moved from Salzburg, where I worked as a Spanish teacher, and my next stop is Luxemburg, where I'll be moving in July, to start a translation traineeship at the European Parliament. From then on, who knows what's next! What else? I'm slightly obsessed with polka dots and I was sorted into Slytherin, but please don't hold it against me.
I enjoy couchsurfing and learning more about the cities I visit through the eyes of my hosts: your stories, tips and perspectives are incredibly valuable to me! I'm very sociable, easy going and very adaptable, if you want to show me around that's great, but if you don't have time, no worries, I can fend for myself.
PHILOSOPHY
"I can't go back to yesterday because I was a different person then"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Surfing, for the time being. At the moment I often find myself between places and have not much more than my own (often tiny) room to offer, but I'm excited to host once I have a couch to spare! I love the idea of opening your home to someone and swapping stories and experiences together.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Surfed once in Seattle and had the homiest, most wonderful time. Why stop there?

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Classic rock, alternative, hip hop, Beyoncé and whatever says "indie" on it. I also consistently jam to "Break free" by Ariana Grande, so I guess you could say I'm quite eclectic, so we'll probably find something in common anyway.
Movies: Tim Burton, Wes Anderson, Woody Allen. I'd argue that Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones count as movies of sorts.
Books: I have probably read every Agatha Christie book there is, but I also love fantasy, dystopian novels and classics, so anything that will make me think and/or laugh. I'm open to your recommendations!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've met the actress playing Missandei from Game of Thrones in a gay club in West Hollywood. I've interpreted for a week in the European Parliament in Strasbourg. Take your pick, I find both equally amazing.
Teach, Learn, Share
Spanish beyond "Una cerveza, por favor" and "¿Dónde está la biblioteca?" (who even asks that in real life?)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share languages, tasty recipes, travel anecdotes and great stories with you! Plus I'm always very happy to listen and learn something amazing from you.
