Born and raised in Texas, I moved to the culinary capital of the U.S., New York City and currently work in the food industry in an event and catering company. I love good food, cooking, meeting new people, traveling, learning new languages, as well as history.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the concept of Couchsurfing - meeting and/or staying with someone who lives in the city you're visiting is always the best way to see a city. Tourist sites are great, but it's the local people of a city or town that really make the trip.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I WOOFed on an ecological fruit & vegetable farm for 3 weeks in Malaga, Spain. That was one of the most challenging work experiences I've ever had! It was the first time I traveled around by myself, so it was a really valuable learning experience for me.
