About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Making the most of my time in France
ABOUT ME
I'm a Foreign Languages teacher working in a marketing company and translator/interpreter in my free time.
I'm an open-minded person, full of enthousiasm and energy to travel, meet new people, practice some sport. I like drinking coffee, going for tapas, having a good time with friends. I also enjoy walks around places such as Carcassonne (I love La Cité) and quiet nights in. If I had to choose the perfect way of ending my journée, it'd be back home, in my terrace during the summer, from where I have a magnificent view of the clear sky of Southern Spain and the olive trees in a montanious landscape, plus the smell of the night blooming jasmine. Too good!
PHILOSOPHY
You cannot shake hands with a clenched fist, attributed to both Golda Meir and Ghandi. So true... pues eso!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I learnt about Couchsurfing thanks to some american people I met a while ago, and I decided to sign up when I went to Bordeaux in January. I've couchsurfed and hosted only once, as I was living in a small city with no many tourists over the winter. Now, I can't host because I moved to carcassonne and I'm staying at a boarding school room.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Both of them were good!
Interests
Travelling, travelling! I would go to every single country and corner in the world. Another of my interests is to learn foreign languages, I love English and Portuguese.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like listening to indie pop-rock music in Spanish, English or French, I don't mind. And! a bit of more traditional music, such as Delinqüentes, Los Aslandticos.
As for books, the one I'm reading right now is La Catedral del Mar, but I read a bit of everything.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most scaring and challenging moment is the one when I decided to stay in France to find a job, but it's amazing to have the chance of doing it :)
Teach, Learn, Share
We can always learn something from everything and everyone, even if it is how not to do things. I think others can learn from us too ( directly, I only teach my students, none else), it depends on how much we share.
