ABOUT ME
A bit chatty from the Irish side of things, you know like, 'ooh, 'til be a nice day to walk about don't you think? ch'like a cuppa tea? mmm' and tell me about your day…'. Love listening to people's stories.
Also very easy to just be quiet and calm. Love reading in a nook or pottering in our newly being formed garden.
Pretty busy in professional life plus I take part in a fair few things in the local community which is great. Feel so blessed to have found a home here with my husband.
We have both traveled a fair bit and enjoy the adventure of it all. We both love people and so does our cat who is discreetly playful while being very respectful of the whole energy environment.
PHILOSOPHY
Ask, listen, smile and share!
I try to be in tune to the energy of the universe around me. Have a strong work ethic while loving my playful and lazy time. I like the French philosophy of thirds in regards to time; a third work a third sleep and a third play/relax. This makes sense to me on a human scale and reminds me of Leonardo's golden rule…
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My favourite couch surfing experience so far was when we went up north with our then teenage daughter and stayed in Cairns with a generous couple who cooked one night, us the next. They had lots of gorgeous pale lime green geckos that came in the house and hung out high on the walls and ceilings and ate all the mosquitos! amazing and I love geckos now with a passion.
Have only surfed a small handful of times and just love the sense of the variety of people too.

Music, Movies, and Books
Lots and lots of loves, open to discovery. Will have to come back to this with a proper list 'cause I love sharing.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Diving into the very cold ocean at the forty foot, Blackrock Dublin for the ritual Christmas day dip amongst a hundred or so others with my brother's Irish family and my husband.
Being part of the caring people in the train on the way home the other night from Melbs, each person in the carriage being wonderfully human, laughing gently and joking lightly about a fellow traveler shaking the cabin with his snores. Our wondrous human fellowship is such a blessing.
That's two, I'd better stop...
