About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Share the joy of my island and speak FRENCH, ITALIAN, and SPANISH. Gotta keep my languages fresh!

ABOUT ME

Traveling is oxygen for me and so is meeting people from everywhere. I've lived in the US, Puerto Rico, France, and Italy and now I live in Hawaii! I love entertaining, cooking and baking, and having a good time. Salsa and Merengue anyone? I love long hikes and outdoor sports. I love reading all kinds of books and I love my cat, dog, hens and ducks - and my hubby! I'm an animal lover for sure. I love expanding my view of the world and meeting people from entirely different backgrounds.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can't host, but I would be happy to meet over coffee and even play tourguide a little - depends on work and life. But I'd be happy to fill you in on what to do here, etc.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Traveling is part of my life and I've often had couchsurfing type experiences, although in somewhat limited fashion being a woman who often traveled alone. I love showing people around (happens often!) and being shown around in new places!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movie: The English Patient; Amélie
Book: The God of Small Things, Arundhati Roy; The River God, Wilbur Smith
Music: 80s stuff, Salsa and Merengue, Ethnic music

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Snorkling off Phi Phi Island in Thailand and coming across a shark...I literally started to panick (seen too many documentaries!). It was harmless of course, but I nearly had a panick attack!

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to share some amazing recipes! Any travel tips as well.
