About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To live a life full of adventure and thrilling moments, with passion.

ABOUT ME

I'm a weird mix of crazy and normal, but aren't we all? I love photography, genetics, movies, laughing, history, talking, traveling, French and Portuguese :)

I love long, interesting conversations where you feel there won't be enough time to get through it all. Those are my favorite moments in life.

I am a little bit too sarcastic, but still, I like to be kind and helpful. I don't really care about what others think, but I DO care about others.

Laughing 'till my stomach hurts is one of the best feelings there are in this world. I like meeting new people, anyone who has something interesting to share, ask, teach, or just something that causes genuine smiles.

I am independent, I like to keep busy, love history and society, travel and new cultures and appreciate anyone with a kind heart and especially people who have the will enough to LISTEN to others as well as SPEAK their minds.

I definitely think we're here to make each others' lives easier, more fun and happy.

I love my city and am eager to show it off to anyone who wants to know it.

Things I love include): Chocolate, Cameras, Dark rooms, Photoshop, movies, chick flicks, cool totes, music, piano, guitar, teaching, cereal, making lists, calendars, i will not deny i like shopping, laughing, eyes (especially blue, green + grey), the smell of oil paint, watercolors, the newspaper, google earth, electricity, dogs (english bulldogs + black schnauzers) , swimming, cycling, studio lighting, long bus rides, short flights, driving with no traffic, biking, running, crecendos, collecting empty cans of film, sharpies, stabilo pens...

PHILOSOPHY

I don't really live by one, I believe we are given this short span of time to come and experience feelings that make it all worth it, to make others' time better, and to learn from each other all the time.

Be yourself... everybody else is already taken!!

I am a more relaxed than party girl. I'd rather go out for coffee over a nice talk than go out every night to a club.

Music, Movies, and Books

Amores Perros is my absolute favorite movie. If you haven't seen it and I find out, I WILL make you see it!
Easy Virtue is also one of my favorites, as is basically any film with British accents :) Love The Holiday, Hans Zimmer's scores.

A good book to me is one that uses words so amazingly that it makes you SO THANKFUL you can read. I love Arrancame la Vida, The Catcher in the Rye, and most recently, La Casa de los Espiritus.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Besides being alive for 24 years, I've surfed the sky on a glider, hiked the Cerro de la Silla (a 3 hour climb!!), spent a year abroad in Canada and lived in the mysterious land of Long Island, NY for another year.

Teach, Learn, Share

Photography, Mexican History and Culture, Spanish, English... I am a language and education passionate.

I would like to learn portuguese and italian, and improve my french!!
