I want to learn more about my surroundings and explore outside of where I live. I also love getting a more local experience, learning about a place and culture by talking to people who live their and hearing their stories, perspectives and experiences. It is much more informative than just reading a magazine article or watching a program on National Geographic.

I helped birth a baby cow when I visited a friend's family at their dairy farm. It got stuck so we had to tie a rope around it and yank it out.

I could teach from my life experience and things I've learned, which include being somewhere on the Universalist/Christian spectrum, queer, an engineer, a North American who moved abroad to Uruguay and has learned a second language and culture.

I like learning from other people's stories and experiences. Even if its not something I have personal natural interest in, whenever someone loves what they do and is passionate about, I love listening to them and learning about it and understanding why they care so much about it.
