ABOUT ME

I am originally from Charleston and unlike most everyone I know still live here and love it here. I have tried to run away twice, once to a University in New Brunswick, Canada, and the second time to Vancouver, B.C., but keep getting pulled back to Charleston for some reason or another. I am now working my dream job running a music venue and could not be happier with where I am in life.

Music is my first passion, both playing and creating musical events. I am in a improv comedy band, Introducing Fish Taco, and I have been in various other folk/rock/bluegrass bands. I recently picked up the fiddle and have loved getting to learn that instrument.

I love painting especially with oils. I love wool socks especially with Birkentsocks. I love climbing, soccer, surfing, gardening (excited to start my fall plot soon).

Most of all I just love people. I am always caught staring at random strangers because people are so fascinating, I can't help myself.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have only hosted thus far in my couchsurfing career. I recently spent two months driving across the country and tried to surf multiple times but to no avail, I was actually a little disappointed in the people on couchsurfing since I only got one reply back from the hundreds that I must have sent out. So my goal is to reply to every request sent my way whether it is accepting or declining.
