About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To make Oregon my home and survive grad school in the mean time.
ABOUT ME
Nomad by nature. I come from a long line of carnies, and this nurtured a love for the open road and experiencing new things. I love to meet people and hear their stories. I am an outgoing nature nerd and art enthusiast. Sharing is Carrie!
PHILOSOPHY
"We must make the choices that enable us to fulfill the deepest capacities of our real selves." Thomas Merton
You are what you eat.

Music, Movies, and Books
Any book by Tom Robbins [Jitterbug Perfume]! I'm a sucker for classics by Salinger, Fitzgerald, etc. I'm a Harry Potter fan. I love to read, so please, send me reading suggestions!
Ferris Bueller's Day Off, The Princess Bride, Wet Hot American Summer, and most documentaries about artists, revolutionaries, aliens or science/nature/space.
As for music... too much to list, but anything that makes me dance. I also love me some good soul mmmm mmm
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Saw the sunrise over temple 5 at Tikal after waking up at 3:30 am, an hour and a half shuttle ride, and a mad dash with 200 other tourists through the jungle and up about 6 flights worth of stairs... entirely worth it! The view was magical, and we got to hear all the howler monkeys screaming as they woke up.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could teach you a little yoga and share what I know about cooking and eating healthy.
"The Great Secret: one has not only an ability to perceive the world but an ability to alter his perception of it; or, more simply, one can change things by the manner in which one looks at them." [Tom Robbins, Even Cowgirls Get the Blues]
