CURRENT MISSION
I'm looking for the wizard somewhere over the rainbow.
ABOUT ME
(I really need to update my profile)
Having hosted and met many couchsurfers with original life projects and living exciting stories, I told myself: "Why not me?" So I decided to get into the adventure of a world tour.
So I asked for a sabbatical, I left my roommate, I said goodbye to friends, I made my backpack, I took my camera and I was gone!
From September 2010 to May 2012: I went to New York, Canada (Quebec-Ontario), California, New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Nepal, India, Vietnam and Laos.
I travelled alone but did many meetings which made me so much richer. I feel now good with myself, full of all these adventures and these lovely people I met.
It is priceless.
About me, well:
I'm curious about everything.
I like learning everyday.
I like observing, specially the details. But most of the time, it makes me think too much.
Of course I enjoy meeting and sharing with people.
I do photography have a look at my website

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hitch-hiking has always been unexpected , surprising , amazing.
During my round the world, thanks to CS:
-I took aerial pictures from an helicopter in Jersey City. This couch had the best view on Manhattan Island.
-I helped my hosts by replacing them. I toured the delivery of meals to remote people with a borrowed bike in Montreal for Sebastopol Association.
-I celebrated Shabbat with awesome musicians in Berkeley.
-I flew in a small airplane up Visalia. My host was flight instructor ;)
-I celebrated Dia de los Muertos and Halloween in Hollywood wearing a skeleton disguise.
-I played bowling and had funny karaoke party with my host who has a huge mohawk btw in Auckland.
-I surfed in a dairy farm in Taranaki.
-I celebrated Christmas, a picnic on the beach with americans, a belgian and an italian in Wellington.
-I celebrated New Year's Eve by wearing a fake mustache in Wellington's streets. The mustache movement was born!
-I did a love carpet in Wellington for www.korakor.fr
-I saw yellow eyed penguins on their natural environment and with nobody around. Secret spot only known from locals.
-I shared a couch with 8 others CS in Christchurch.
-I bathed in the cold water of the Mossman Gorge under the rain in Australia. Then I had a delicious homemade dinner with candels.
-I've been rescued at the last minute in Brisbane by one of the nicest CS I ever met.
-I travelled in Asia with a friend I met on CS two years before.
-I danced in a weird nightclub surrounded by ladyboys in Bangkok and had an amazing time.
-I surfed a bamboo bungalow and then rode an elephant in Chiang Mai.
-I played cards games with rasta thais in a rasta bar who called me "Wiolin" cause they couldn't pronounce my name.
-I did volunteering for Sao Sary Fundation in Cambodia, teaching pedagogy and english.
-I surfed in a tiny appartment in Hong-Kong with a chinese family. Only the girl spoke english. I've been their first guest :)
-I surfed the couch of a future novellist in Hong-Kong and had endless fascinating philosophical discussions with him. I even made him dance.
-Hitchhiked in India, Lao, Vietnam, Balkans...
