About Me

I am currently fulfilling a teenager-dream of mine, as to study psychology. These are my second studies and I really love what I'm doing and learning. And I just gave in my Bachelor Thesis! Next year, I'll start with the Master of Psychology. I have a son of 19 years, who is in the track of getting more independent, so that me, as well, can move more independently. So I now travel more, and had already the chance to get to know amazing places and beautiful people. I can say about my life that I hope it goes on like that. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling and finding new homes, new friends, new horizons. I know a lot of people in a lot of countries in the world, which came to visit me in wonderful, vibring Berlin or who offered me a place to stay in their city. Being with locals gives you a view of a city that embraces more then a Brandenburger Gate or a Eiffel Tower. Couchsurfing offers me the chance to have a local connection in the cities where I have no friends (yet). People using a free plateform like couchsurfing are assumed to be more open and liberal, and can provide a more personal perspective of a city.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once I had a very busy day taking care of things, so I did not find time to eat. In the evening, I had to go to work. I was sitting in the metro, talking to a friend on the phone about how hungry I was, as I did not eat yet. When I hanged up, a woman in a hijab in front of me took out a not yet touched Kebap out of her bag and offered it to me, insisting that I take and eat it. It was so loving (and I was so hungry! ;)) that I accepted and just wanted to start eating, when a man behind us turned around crying and telling us he had not eaten for days. So what can I say? I gave him the Kebap. At the end, I went to work still hungry, but isn't it beautiful how love can spread?
