We are back from an amazing world trip and have found jobs in Lyon. Now preparing for new adventures in South-East France.

ABOUT ME

We're a happy bunch! We love traveling and meeting local people, sharing experience and cooking.
We spent a long time in New Zealand where we've learnt a lot about ourselves. We want to keep learning now, in any possible way.

PHILOSOPHY

"Make it happen!" Maybe luck helps sometimes, but some people tend to think it's all about luck. It's not. It's about willingness, hard work and positiveness. Helping people out and getting helped when needed. And travelling shows us this every single day, we've met such wonderful people who have helped us when we had a car crash, or when we lost a beloved one during our trip... As far as we can, we try to help anyone in need in return. More than the landscapes we've seen, our trip is about people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far we haven't been able to host couchsurfers because our place wasn't right for it. But we hope to do so when we get back to France in September 2012.
As for couchsurfing ourselves, well we've had a really good experience so far. We love meeting new people, and whatever the need, we'll help. Cleaning the dishes, doing a bit of house-keeping, cooking...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've been hosted a few of times in Australia, New Zealand, Chile, Argentina, Peru, San Francisco, Vancouver... We've loved meeting local people, and made friends for life.

Caroline - dancing, writing, reading, trekking, rock-climbing, sky-diving, canyoning, yoga...
Paco - photography, bodyboarding, surfing, snowboarding, football, rugby...

We both love talking with people we meet in backpackers or while couchsurfing, love travelling, exploring new places, being marvelled at nature's wonders.

Musica, film e libri

Am I too old to quote Harry Potter here? Right, I love books, any kind, any subject. I am sensitive to the writing style. And Paco, who didn't use to read a lot, has impressed me by absorbing 'The Pillars of the Earth" in only a week very recently!!

Music: we love Jack Johnson and his jandles, Fat Freddy's Drop, The Cat Empire, Ben Harper, Coldplay, Empire of the Sun, MGMT, and like listening to new, different stuff... Our last good find were the Cristales de Coquimbo, a band of charming old men from Chile :)

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

Caroline - I passed jazz and hip hop dance exams with honours when I was 25, after not dancing for ages. I worked so hard everyday till the exams that I cried when I got the results.
I've also bungy-jumped a few times, skydived as well, I kinda like crazy stuff!
Paco - Sky-dived for the first time in Wanaka (New Zealand) in December 2011...He's so scared of heights, it was quite funny to see his face, but no kidding, he absolutely loved it!

We learn everyday from the people we meet and this is the best experience out of this whole trip.
