Hi humans. :)

I am a psychology student from Germany, currently living in Regensburg.
But actually, student is rather something I do on the side line - there is so much to do and see and experience that you'll never learn in a lecture hall...

What I like to spend my time with:

people, old friends, new friends, grandpa and his stories from war, strangers who show you around in a city for one day and become long-time friends, ...

music (playing guitar, on the same very low level since ten years, with no hope of ever getting better, but with a lot of fun! listening to all kinds of music, from old school rock to metal to German hiphop, psytrance and classical music.)

volunteering, political work

creative stuff such as drawing, photography

I like the thoughts that are left from the hippie era - and I wish so bad I was born fourty years earlier - so I am trying to be open minded and friendly at all times (most times - no way I'll have deep conversations early in the morning) and treat people and nature with respect.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

In Germany, we have this word "Fernweh", which is the opposite of homesick. That feeling that comes up when you're on your way home and walk past the main station and so badly wish you could just take the next train to - anywhere. I get this feeling quite often.
And I just love travelling and getting to know new people, new places and new ways of thinking and living... Whenever I leave some town or country that I have visited with my people and where I have lived in a hotel and barely talked to locals, it leaves this feeling that no matter how many places I discovered, I missed some important part of the experience. That's what makes couchsurfing so great - I guess it's the only way to get the full experience of travelling.

On the other hand, I want to give others the possibility to visit Ulm as well and have a good time in my home town!

Música, películas y libros

Music. Rock and metal will always have my heart, the big old rock legends as well as many new bands. But basically, I enjoy every kind of music. Can have a lot of fun on Hiphop concerts, love classical soundtracks and my favorite club music is techno. And then there is this whole psytrance universe, which I really like a lot as well.

Movies. Uhm. My all-time-favourite is and will ever be The lord of the rings, apart from that I'm pretty much into weird movies like Pulp fiction, Fight club, The big lebowksi, and all the Tim Burton stuff. Ah, can't list them all now.

Books. At the moment I'm deeply in love with T. C. Boyle and his portraits of American society. I've read some fantasy that I really loved, some old classics like The Great Gatsby, and Harry Potter should be read by every person on this planet at least once ;) But mostly I like dramas.
