About Me

Current mission : Doing the things that make me happy and that let me feel alive so that I won't regret it one day.

Maybe it’s good to know to avoid awkward situations: I’m vegan, so I don't consume animal products (and I don't bite;))

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to think this way: Travelling and especially couchsurfing is about meeting friends. Friends you haven't met yet.

So I think that Couchsurfing is a great opportunity to really get in contact with other people, to learn about their every day life, their values, struggles, their city, culture, etc.. Since having tried CS for the first time, I can’t imagine travelling in a different way and I’m more than grateful for all those rich encounters and moments I could experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have to admit that I‘m an absolute „bookworm“; what you‘re called like in Germany when reading is some kind of a life function of your body.

At the moment, I really enjoy books where you have to think about the plot and the deeper meaning behind it. I also try to educate myself a bit more about mental health, so I’m reading a lot about that as well.
But in general, I love fantasy and historical fiction, as well as philosophical books and even manga - nearly everything someone recommends me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Six weeks in the south of France (Provence) with the topic of “organic agriculture” where I visited 14 farms spontaneously and did something like wwoofing when I was 18

What I Can Share with Hosts

Basic answer incoming: I‘m a really open and friendly person who laughs a lot and likes to share experiences and stories. If you want, I can cook for or with you - at home, I‘m always trying out new vegan recipes and my speciality is definitely "Resteküche" = cooking with leftovers.

If you need help with anything: I'm there to help you even if I'm not the biggest expert, so just ask me whatever you want.:) I'm currently learning how to fix bikes, so I might help you with basic repairs for example.
