Love traveling, learning about people, cultures...life in general. Working as Spanish teacher as foreign language has been an amazing opportunity to learn more from different cultures and it has increased my desire for traveling and enriching my life with my own experiences outside the classroom.
I Consider myself as an independent and hardworking person who is willing to discover what the world has to offer. Love animals. I have 4 pets: 1 dog, Kathy Pi, and 3 crazy cats: Filis, Perro and Payasito.
My hobbies are dancing (especially salsa) in fact, next year I´ll begin a contemporary dance course in an academy in Bogotá. Also, like hiking ( being in contact with nature is very relaxing and important for me), swimming ... in general, outdoor activities.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I´Ve heard about Couchsurfing from my students. Some of them have had the experience and the recommended me this option, so...here I am, trying to live my own experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

Regarding music, I like most music. To dance, I would say salsa, reggae, electronic, merengue, bachata, samba. To listen, rock and metal basically, however sometimes pop music is perfect...It depends on the mood I´m.
About movies, well...I like all kind of movies except musicals ( Don´t know why but when I try to watch a musical ...always fall asleep) and books...Latinamerican writers like Cortazar, Saramago, Isabel Allende are my favorites.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sharing with an indigenous tribe from my country for 2 months in order to know their customs, needs and expectations as indigenous in a westernized world.
