Hello!
I am a recent-graduate from high school living in Belgium. I am currently planning a trip to Northern-Italy and Indonesia.
As I am planning the places I'd like to visit, I am a very open-minded person who likes to enjoy every unique experience with people who cross my path, which is why I am using CS! I am hoping to meet a lot of people through this platform who would love to share their own culture, background, thoughts and experiences.
I would like to think of myself as a traveler, rather than a tourist. For every place to go, food to eat or friends to meet, I'm a 100% in! I love spontaneous adventures but hanging out together and enjoying our food with a glass of wine is also something I can really appreciate.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It is amazing for me to discover the authentic culture of the countries I visit. This includes eating local food, discovering (secret) places and of course meeting new people, which is the best part because like that, you can make friends all over the world. I have had a few experiences in living abroad (Erasmus in Vienna and internship in London) and it was the best time of my life because we learned so much from each other; from sharing our values and backgrounds to teaching each other different languages and sayings.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music by heart is Rock. Bands like Foo Fighters, Artic Monkeys, The Black Keys, Florence and The Machine, Lana Del Rey etc. are my number ones!
Trying to read as many books as possible. Ish Ait Hamou is one of my favorite writers. Currently I am reading 'How to be an existentialist'. Books with a deeper meaning or message are the ones that attract me so I never really read novels.
Watching plenty of series at the same time is one of my specialties. Personally, Friends will always be the best one for me :) I'm also watching Suits, Orange is the New Black, The Walking Dead, This Is Us, Black Mirror, Dear White People,...
I am very open to every kind of art form. I'd love to learn about your art!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Back when I was staying in Austria, a few friends and I planned to do a road trip in Croatia as it was not so far away. We rented a car and started our trip in the capital Zagreb. We drove around and visited some places, including the National Park of Croatia, named Plitvice. After the most amazing waterfalls and nature, we visited several villages near the coast, such as Opatija, Rijeka and Senj. It was the most beautiful, peaceful and amazing trip I've ever done and I'd do it again in a heartbeat!
