Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I have had great experiences with Couchsurfing over the years. I've surfed in Chile and Texas, met up to show people around NYC and gave some recs for NOLA. I've also met up with people to do various activities while solo traveling in Mexico City. Good times all around.

MUSIC: Doja Cat, Vince Staples, Erykah Badu, the Pixies, the Velvet Underground, cumbia, house music, other stuff.
MOVIES: Clueless, Parasite, Basquiat (the one with David Bowie)
BOOKS: I read political theory, fiction - a whole smorgasbord really. Hard to pick favorites.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

-Hitchhiked with a friend through the Atacama Desert in Chile and then took a bus through the mountains to La Paz.

-Reached the top of Mount Merapi, a volcano in Indonesia. We hiked all night and approached the summit at dawn, just as the hum of morning prayers started floating up from the surrounding villages below.

I speak Spanish. Trying to learn Portuguese. I'm a journalist and based on the things I've covered I know a lot about U.S. health care, drug policy, politics, and independent art spaces.
