ABOUT ME

I have been living in an intentional community for last 18 months but am now back in Hertford. Cant host at the moment though happy to meet up with CS people. I'm very interested in communities, how they develop and how to build resilience in ourselves and the places we live. I practise meditation haphazardly and belong to Transition Hertford. I am happiest when with my family or out as a volunteer with the Herts and Middx Wildlife Trust in their reserves. I completed "The Journey" at Embercombe this year and am loving life:)

PHILOSOPHY

Always think the best of everyone- you're more likely to find it. And if not,escape quickly!Interested in positive psychology at the moment. Learning how to be happier sounds a good idea to me.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Have joined the Buddhist group on CS and 50+ and Africa and Transition Towns and more. Haven't done much at all with CS these last 2 years

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have hosted 4 people so far and enjoyed it very much. Everyone is so interesting and different and yet I am continually reminded of our similarities.

Stayed in Tanzania for 2 weeks to monitor anti-poaching project. Flew in microlight over the bush.

Even better... saw my second grandaughter being born.
