ABOUT ME
After finishing my Masters degree in Baltimore, I moved last summer to Knoxville, TN to start a job at the University of Tennessee, School of Art. I live in the historic neighborhood called Mechanicsville. I am still getting settled myself, but if you'd like to go exploring, let me know!
PHILOSOPHY
We are here on the planet only once, and might as well get a feel for the place.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Couch surfing has changed my entire perception of visiting a new place. I've met so many incredible people along the way, who've enjoyed my stripped couch, and surfed on many others. Once you've had a chance to go to the local Russian bar dedicated to Ska music, or enjoy delicious chinese food in a local section of Paris, you learn that the most important part of the trip is the people.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
In the US, I've definitely done my share of surfing on other sofas, from Philly to Maine to up and down the West Coast. With Couch Surfing specifically, I went on a 3 week adventure through Europe, meeting new friends in Munich, Paris, and Berlin.
