Overview
About Me
I will be moving house at the end of the year (2018), so will not be able to accept any more guests here in Sale, but hopefully once I'm settled in my new location, I will be able to re-open my couch :-)
CURRENT MISSION
To live life to the full, with no regrets.
ABOUT ME
I am a single woman, living in a moderate sized town in Gippsland, Victoria. I enjoy good food, good coffee and good wine, and love art and culture.
I enjoy movies and theatre, and classical music and opera, not very interested in modern music, but love the pop/rock music of the 1960s and 70s.
PHILOSOPHY
I am a Christian (kind of obvious, being a minister in the Christian church), but believe in accepting people as they are, and don't force my own beliefs on others.
I love talking to people who make me think, and am not afraid to engage with people who have different views to mine.
I think it's important to be kind and accepting of others, and to show the love of God in a practical (but non-threatening) way.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am still relatively new to Couchsurfing, but am keen to exercise hospitality to new and interesting people.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have hosted a few couchsurfers in my former home in North East Victoria, and enjoyed the experience. Now that I have settled into my new home in Sale, I'm looking forward to hosting more guests.
Interests
I enjoy singing in choirs, going to concerts, theatre, opera and similar things. A couple of years ago, I started to learn to play the piano, but am still very much a beginner.
I have just moved home from Marvellous Myrtleford (in north-east Victoria) to Super Sale (in Gippsland, Vic). Looking forward to welcoming some couchsurfers to my new abode (once I get settled in)

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy reading science fiction, detective, mystery novels for pleasure (as well as the things I need to read for my work), but find that I don't always get the time to do as much reading as I would like to.
I try to get to the cinema on my days off, but again, this is tricky sometimes.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
On my summer holiday in Western Australia, in January 2017, I went scuba diving under the Busselton Jetty. Once I got over my initial anxiety about breathing underwater, it was an awesome experience.
