About Me

So I'm currently travelling around Australia on a working holiday visa. I'm also completing my farmwork so I can stay another year. :)

I'm into yoga, meditation and all things green - I am a vegetarian but I also eat fish (please don't take this as me judging everyone on what they eat)

I love in depth conversations about the world and interesting things - the small talk is a no no haha.

I enjoy beautiful scenery and beaches as well as a couple of drinks - cocktails are my favourite :) I cannot cook very well however my skills lie in cleaning and organisation so anything you need sorted out - I am your person :)

I like really getting to know a person and understand who they are to create a good friendship, this way when I have a house of my own I can return the surfing favour :).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm looking for more of an interesting vibe - a connection with someone - I would like share someones home with them and get that real experience with them.

I think you also really get to see more of a place when you get shown around by a local - maybe an interesting bar or a good beach that isn't so touristy.

Interests

My climbing tall things interest comes from climbing anything that's up high - there is a very serene and peaceful vibe when you get up high especially when I'm in a city and need to get away from it all. I have climbed the Millennium Dome in London as well as the Tower Bridge and Fire Monument. I still have yet to climb Sydney Harbour Bridge.
I love doing yoga and used to regularly work out before I came travelling - i do enjoy a good long walk also.

Music, Movies, and Books

Basically my music choice will fit the mood I'm in so it changes from Eminem to Stanton Lanier.

I do enjoy a good book - self help e.g 'The Power of Now' by Eckhart Tolle is a favourite of mine. When I want a good novel Dean Koontz is my go to; anything based on real life experiences are always good for me also.

Movies - I love the Matrix - its epic - any kind of movie with a bit of action, fantasy and adventure is always good :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I completed a charity Sky Dive for the Charity Whizz Kids.

I moved to the other side of the earth to begin my travelling adventure.

Volunteered in South Africa in a private game reserve - we also camped in Kruger National Park where we went for a night drive and we saw Hyenas and Lions - amazing to say the least.

Kayaked with Dolphins in the sea at Byron Bay.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn how to sail and spend some time on a boat - I got the want for this after I went and saw the Whitsundays in Airlie Beach.

I also want to learn Japanese and so we could practise together if you know it?!

I'm a good organiser and cleaner so if you need anything sorted let me at it!!! I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share stories, understanding and a good cup of tea and conversation. I'm also a very good listener as I would like to eventually become a therapist one day.

If you have a pet I can also share my love of all animals - especially cats, dogs, snakes, lizards etc :)

Good conversation over a cup of tea and biscuits :)
