I've been in education for 41 years and will be retiring in a few years. I've been an English and French teacher, a school counselor, and now a college counselor for 19 years. I've been married to the same man for 39 years and have raised 3 great kids. I love to travel and explore: I've traveled to Africa, Canada, Mexico, and several European countries. I've always done camping with my family but last year, I bought myself a mini camper which I "glamped up" bohemian-style, and so I go on weekend camping trips with a group of women in the Midwest United States.

I like most types of music and movies. The Bible is my favorite book but I also love self-help books.

I have traveled to Africa, Italy, and France by myself. I stay with family or friends part of the time, but I've enjoyed to challenge of traveling solo.
