About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel all over the world, as much as I can and in every continent. I’d like to say one day that I went in every single country. Ambitious, but not impossible.

ABOUT ME

I’m Italian and I graduated last year from Milan University; right now I live in DC metro area, USA.
I'm an open-minded person and I love meeting new people, new cultures and new lifestyles.
The first thing that I do when I have enough money and some days off, is planning my next trip. When I used to live in Italy my trips were mostly around Europe, now I try to explore this country as much as I can.

PHILOSOPHY

Learn by doing: this is my philosophy.
I think traveling and meeting new people are the most amazing thing that I can do to improve my person, and they both allow me to learn something new, trip by trip.
I’ve always traveled a lot , when I was younger I had the fortune to travel with my parents and my twin sister, now I have the fortune to have a job that allows me to please my tramp soul.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I used couchsurfing for the first time 4 years ago with two friends of mine while we were in the Netherlands and it was amazing! We shared this beautiful boat house, we cooked together and the host brought us in some beautiful local places that probably we could have never found them without him: totally worth it!!
Couchsurfing went beyond my expectations: I have to admit at first I was kind of skeptical, but I really enjoyed my stay with the host and my friends. From that moment on we used Couchsurfing for every other trips (or at least we tried), and here I am now to try to use it by myself on the other side of the world, in the USA.

Interests

Photography, I took a photography course right before leaving Italy so it’s kind of a new interest.
Cooking for sure, I have food in my veins :p
Reading, listening to the music, rock climbing, the moon and the sea.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: basically every kind of music.

Movies: Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain, Into the wild, Inception, Breakfast at Tiffany’s and much more.

TV shows: Vikings, House of cards, Sons of Anarchy, Parks and Recreation..

Books: I'm in love with all the books by Alessandro Baricco, especially Oceano Mare.
I’m currently reading Like water for elephants.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent a whole week in Croatia with three friends of mine without a house, just because we planned to leave one day before we left. We slept the whole week on the beach and the sea was our shower, but we made it and if I could go back in time I would definitely do that again! Crazy moments are the best in life.

Countries I’ve Visited

Croatia, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, Egypt, England, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Tunisia, United Kingdom, United States, Vatican City State

Countries I’ve Lived In
