ABOUT ME

We've been living in Beijing for almost four years and have visited many of the far reaches of the country. I live to travel, and a University teaching position allows me to do just that. During the semester I work hard, during the holidays I play hard! I love my job, my family and my new home in China. I studied art in University, my concentration was in ceramics. I love music and am always up for talking about it and exchanging it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We can teach you some basic Chinese. We are seasoned tour guides around Beijing and can give you lots of sight-seeing tips, take you out to the best restaurants and bars and generally help you have a great time.

I've seen elephants, buffalo, bears, elk, and monkeys in their natural habitats.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you basic Chinese, which is very helpful if you are traveling in China. I can teach you how to bargain in Chinese too. We also have millions of travel tips for China. I want to learn to play a musical instrument (maybe the piano) and to speak and read Chinese fluently.
