ABOUT ME

My name is Carola, I am 23 years old and traveling like most people here. I am originally from the Netherlands but most part of the year working in France and/or Spain. I love road trips, chilling and talking with a glass of wine or beer ( a gin tonic in a bar would also do, but no crazy party person). Currently it's me and my car going everywhere after I gave up my apartment and started traveling again.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe everything happens for a reason and everyone is here for a reason. Also, I believe it is not always about what you know, but who you know. Furthermore, I like change and spontaneity. That is what keeps life interesting.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently I won't be able to offer any couches as I have quit my studies and now travel around myself. But as soon as I am able again, it will be on here!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I don't have experience yet with couchsurfing. I have only heard amazing stories about it from Polish friends who I used to work with in Spain. Actually, they crashed at my place in Spain for a few days last year when they were hitchhiking around, I guess that counts a little!

Just traveling around north of Spain and south of France the last 3 years, this makes me happy :)

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

One of my favorite things is to learn languages! I try to pick up a little from every language when I meet people from different countries. I speak Dutch, English, German and learned a little bit Spanish, France and Polish. Maybe some more random words in other languages, but I love to add many more to that and would love to teach you some Dutch if you are interested in that.
