About Me
** We are currently living in Berlin, Germany to take our masters and unfortunately we can't host couchsurfers on our student residence... We will be back as soon as we have our own couch again. So far, if you are interested on tips about the city/country, just let us know!**
Hello! We are Carol and Marcelo and we currently live in Rio. We have already lived in many cities in Brazil and abroad and now we are used to be always moving around to see family and friends or just to know other places! We love travelling, specially on the "backpackers mode", which allows us to know more then tourist points.
Carol is economist and works with financial structuring for renewable energy projects. She likes to talk but also enjoys some quiet moments on a company of a good book! Marcelo is an engineer focused on infrasctructure projects.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Officially, we hosted two foreign couples at home and we were also hosted by nice people. They were really great experiences! We also do a lot of couchsurfing for family and friends and we are always showing the city for someone.
Interests
Carol has a particular interest on social business and sustainability, specially from the economic and financial point of view and she is always trying to harmonize it with her profession. Marcelo likes soccer, airplanes and would love to travel on motorhome.
We love sports and outside acitivities, travelling, exploring cities and its corners, reading, volunteering, meeting new people!!!
