I grew up in a small village in Switzerland named Saignelégier.
I spent one year in Zurich after the Highschool - I was Au Pair - to learn German because I wanted to study Art in Basel.
After Zurich, I lived in Basel in an apartment share for 6 years, improved my German and went to the Art school to become an Art teacher.
During my study, I found a student job in a small brewery based in Saignelégier, where I grew up, where I did the guided tours in French and German on Saturdays until the end of my study. Learning more and more about beer, I realized that I really enjoyed working in a brewery. So I stayed there, and became the Sales Manager for the German part of Switzerland. And I still love my job!

I was able to take 2 months off work, for traveling. (Amazing, right?! I love my job even more! :-) )
I've always wanted to visit Canada, so now I'm here! I enjoy life in hostel, meeting other travelers from all around the world. But I would also love to learn more about the culture of Canada and meet Canadian natives. And get good advices about nice places to visit, beautiful hikes I can do around, etc. So that's the reason why I'm looking to do some couch surfing.

I am interested in Art, I studied Art in Basel for 6 years and this is still a big part of my life, even if I ended up working in a Craft Brewery instead of becoming an Art teacher. I do some drawings and sculptures, I have a small "atelier" back home.
I love music too, going to concerts and festivals and discovering new sounds. I used to play piano, but I haven't played for the last few years.
But my main interest is enjoying the nature, being outside, hiking, flying (I'm a paraglider), climbing and snowboarding! And have a good beer at the end of the day :-)
