Weather allowing i love the water and sun and exploring rivers and lakes by kayak, hiking into the woods to vistas where there is no sign of civilization. I love to taste local cooking as well as seasonal fruits and vegetables. I love animals in the wild and I've been crazy about dogs and horses all my life. I love anything that warms the heart.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Watching a stream of ants eating the sticky sap holding together a peony blossom and seeing it spring open and marveling of the ecology of it.... Being up on the top of a mountain and having a raven stare you in the eyes for many many minutes while they are hovering on a hydraulic wind current.....Being up at dawn and watching a herd of wild horses emerge from and disappear into the fog......trying many things to deter a squirrel from the birdfood and realizing they may be smarter than me....gliding for real and in dreams...
