ABOUT ME

Michael and I live in Medford, Oregon with our cat, Wallace. Michael has a year-round busy schedule, as he works a couple of side jobs in addition to his full time day job. Because I'm a teacher, I get summers off and I LOVE it, especially because summer is such a great travel season! Since being together, Michael and I have been able to travel many places, but our biggest adventure is yet to come. In summer of 2014 we will be heading of to Europe with our backpacks and I couldn't be more excited!

PHILOSOPHY

I once read, "travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer." I completely agree. Other travel thoughts I like are, "we travel not to escape life, but for life to to escape us" and "the world is a book and those who don't travel only read one page."

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We would love to experience new places by staying with other couch surfers, as well as open our door to people in the beautiful Rogue Valley needing a place to crash.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

At this point we have only hosted, and have not stayed with anyone. We look forward to changing that!

Because my husband is a DJ and a singer, he has a broad taste in music. At any given time you'll hear us listening to country, 90's, top 40, 80's, Motown...
We love watching movies of many types: action, documentary, comedy, romantic, etc.

I'm fortunate enough to have seen/done many amazing things thus far in my life, but one of my favorites was snorkeling in the pristine waters of St. Lucia in the Caribbean. It was absolutely beautiful and we saw some amazing ocean life.

My husband may have more to teach than me, since he is a singer and has a passion for music, he's a business manager and an overall very intelligent guy. I personally have a passion for photography and would love to teach or learn from anyone about that. Both of us would love to learn more about other cultures and other people travel experiences, as well as share our own.
