First we would like to introduce ourselves:

My name is Carolina, but you can call me Carol. Today, I have 30 years old. Rafael has 30 years too. We are almost 31. our britdays are very clouse.

Rafael and I are together for almost 13 years, since we were 18 years old. Yes It’s a very long road together. We kind of grew up together. I Think that's way we have the same dreams.

OUR STORY:

We are Brazilians, born in Rio de Janeiro City. Despite being born in Rio, I grew up in a small town in a mountainous region of the state, Rafael however grew up here in this chaotic but beloved city.

OUR CARRER:

We both are graduates.

Rafael is graduated in Graphic Design. He’s specialized in visual comunication, web design and videografism. He's really talented. He has worked as an art director for several major companies from advertising agencies to our largest local television station (Rede Globo). Nowadays he is being acting as a freelancer.

I'm graduated in Radio and TV production. Since I graduated I worked mostly with marketing and publicity. Lately I've been working with virtual store management on the fashion business.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After almost 10 years of hard work, Rafael and I have decided to fufil our dream of spending a whole year traveling around the world.
After spent one year raising money and researching ways to travel spending less and learning more, here we are!
