I've been a student way too long, but enjoyed the student life very much. I like to go on 'small adventures' and meet new people.

During my field research for my master thesis I became an activist for undocumented migrants in Brussels. In the future, I would like to work for an international ngo working with refugees. Kinda idealistic, I know.

Right now I'm doing an internship in Pretoria (South Africa) and looking to meet up with interesting people.

I love to go hiking and camping in the mountains, but sadly my home country isn't the most ideal place to do that. (Our 'mountains' are rather small hills...) Furthermore, being a good Belgian, I like to have some beers and relax. I also enjoy trying to find beauty in plain or ugly things and photographing it.

I petted a tarantula.
A live one.
Not in a zoo, but in the forests of Northern Thailand.
That was kinda scary.
But maybe not amazing.
Still kinda cool.
