ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is Carolien.

I was born and raised in Oude Pekela. Wich is a small town in the Netherlands. It is nice and quiet, and i love the space around me there. But it is also not to far from the city. I finished 2 different levels of high school. And after that i had a full time job for a little while at a helpdesk service off a call centre. Wright now i'm travelling around the world. I am a really happy and positive person. And i always try to see something in a positive way. I love art, and did a lot off acting and singing when i was still at home. Something that i would like to do again when i'm back home and have the time for it.

Intereses

I love to read, and watch movies. At the cinema or just at home together with friends. Who are also really important to me. I really like to see them as often as i can, to go clubbing, or have some tea. Also i like to excercise, i do Yoga, running and swimming. Wich is really relaxing, but also a good workout. Music and other artforms are a big love off mine. I like to sing, and go jamming with friends. I've also done a lott off acting, wich was sometimes combined with singing. And off course i love to travel, my longest trip was 16 months. It was great, i have lived and worked in Australia for a year threw out the whole country. And i have seen Bali, Lombok, gilli islands, Singapore and New - Zealand. I would love to go back to Australia and New - Zealand one day.

Música, películas y libros

I loved the books off tomorrow when the war begon, from John Marsden. I read it after my first exams off highschool, and i remember i got really sucked into it. It is a great book. Also "American Wife" books off Karin Slaughter. And Saskia Noort, Simone van der Vlucht. (dutch wrighters) And i like to go the library or a bookstore, and just pick something that catches my eye. I like to read thrillers, war storys and funny books.

As for music, i have a very wide range. I listen allot off music. From Bach, and Beethoven, to Calvin Harris or Skrilexx. But also thing like Queen, and Golden Earing. Or music from Dutch artists.

My favorite movie is Breakfest at Tiffany's. I can see that movie over and over. And it will not get boring. Just like Grease, Dear John and some other movies. I also love English detectives, and comedys.

The most amazing thing i have seen was when i have lived in an Aboriginal Community when i was travelling around Australia.
I had gotten the privelliges to see the Elders off Balgo, and go out on a few trips with them. To Old Balgo. Or go hunting for Bush potatoes, and bush coconuts. Wich was such an experience. They told me allot off stories, and they are so wise. It was amazing.

When i was in New - Zealand i have done a bungy.
" The Nevis " it gave me such a rush. It was so scary, and cool at the same time. And it really was a victory for myself that i have done that.
